Carrie Haynes, a licensed professional counselor and the founder of the Art of Groups, has dedicated the past two decades to facilitating therapy groups. Her extensive experience includes a decade as the Director of the Group Program at Colorado State University. In this role, she supervised and trained psychology, social work, and master's interns, nurturing their skills in leading transformational groups.
Transitioning into private practice, Carrie recognized a growing need for accessible and effective support for therapists aspiring to excel in group facilitation. Thus, she established the Art of Groups, a platform offering mentorship, training, and education tailored to empower therapists in honing their group facilitation skills.
Carrie currently resides in Fort Collins, CO, with her partner and two children, where she continues to advocate for the advancement of therapeutic group work.
